A huge help. After a broken shower cartridge Alias came to help diagnose and recommend how to resolve the issue with the help of the manufacturer. After taking some bad advice from the manufacturer which led to a leak, Alias came back quickly and for no additional charge to help fix the leak I caused. I will look for Alias’ help next time I have a plumbing issue.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Crystal Drain & Plumbing, and I feel compelled to share so others don’t find themselves in a similar situation.Questionable Diagnosis and Exorbitant Charges: After a brief attempt to unclog the drain using a snake, the conclusion was that the drain needed to be ‘cut from beneath,’ as described on the invoice (see attached photo). This short session didn’t resolve anything but resulted in a hefty charge of over $350. The proposed ‘solution’ was to further cut into my walls for over $1000. Out of desperation, I purchased a camera and discovered the issue was actually a frozen pipe – a simple fix by using hot water, opting instead to suggest an expensive and unnecessary service.Deceptive Practices: My attempt to support local businesses led me to them, but it turns out they operate under multiple names on Google Maps, a deceitful practice to seem local and trustworthy. The invoice revealed their actual location, far from ‘local.’Lack of Professionalism: The plumber showed up a staggering four hours late without any prior warning or apology, completely disregarding my time. The individual sent to my home lacked any form of professional attire or identification, making me question the legitimacy of the business (attached image)To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. It feels like a clear attempt to take advantage of a situation, capitalizing on my lack of plumbing knowledge with misleading advice and services. Please, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for plumbing services.
